About Aberaeron Football Club

Aberaeron AFC is situated in the coastal town of Aberaeron on Cardigan Bay. Evidence suggests that the clubs existence dates back to the late 1800’s. Indeed a visit to the Black Lion Hotel bar will provide an interesting insight into the clubs history due to the numerous photographs displayed. There is also a must see mural for football buffs.

At present we run teams at U6’s, 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, 14’s and 16’s as well as two senior sides. The Junior section has produced some very talented players both male and female over the years. Recently, Henry Jones was on Swansea City’s books and was Captain of their under 21’s team. After playing for Bangor City last season he is presently turning out for AFC Fylde in the Vanarama National League. Emlyn Lewis is a key member of Cardiff Met in the Welsh Premier League.
