Another of our kits that we donated has now been paired up with a team - they are called "Corner Flag FC" and are based in Waterloo, a suburb of Freetown.

The Club would like to thank all who have supported the annual Draw this year. We are pleased to announce the winners for the January and February Draw - good luck to all the winners!
I bought some space on a container and it arrived in Freetown just in time for Christmas. The consignment was worth approx £8,500
My "man on the ground" Fayah was given the task of distributing the goods, which will take a while, but he knew of a team fairly local to him who had NO kit.
They are called Magbafty FC and they were over the moon with their new kit. It just shows that re-cycling does work.
Thank you guys for your support - you have MADE A REAL DIFFERENCE to these football loving guys

As Chairman of the club I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy New Year, I’m hopeful that 2021 will prove to be a better year for us all.
Although there has been little or no football for you all to enjoy over the last ten months I would like to ensure you that the the club has continued to work hard during this difficult period.
Thankfully we have all been able to train when possible and the 1st team have even been able to play three friendlies! Many thanks to Sean Thomas our Covid officer who has worked tirelessly over the past few months to make this possible.
Due to the wonderful work of our hard working treasurer Delyth Williams and Aneurin Roberts we have been able to attain grant monies which have been very helpful in covering costs for Covid essentials .They have also been able to secure a grant that will hopefully pay for 4 portable floodlights to assist in training and another container which will be used for much needed storage space .
We continue to try and raise money for the club, but with the Football Festival being cancelled last year and the likelihood of it not going ahead this year ,as well as not being able to hold our very successful Horse racing evening it’s been very frustrating.
To replace much needed funds we have set up a membership scheme we are indebted to Rhydian Davies and Del for setting this up as well as all those local businesses who have supported it.
Also we continue our monthly HT draw we will hold our first draw later this month. Thanks to all for supporting and to Hywel for driving this through for another year, just to note there is now an opportunity to join the draw on line.Anyone who hasn’t supported either/both schemes yet and wish to please feel free to do so! A few more thanks to both club secretaries John and Kate for your continued hard work and to Dafs Roberts for keeping the first team pitch in such good condition. Thanks to all coaches throughout the age groups for all you’ve done during this difficult time and to Ffion James for sorting out all things Comet.
We are very grateful to the Town Council for their support in allowing the use of Square Field, without it there wouldn’t have been any possibility of training!
We have recently strengthened our committee with new members and have big plans to move the club forward over the next few years.
I hope you all stay safe during this very difficult time and I look forward to seeing you all when we finally get back to normal.
